A 29-pound, 3-ounce tiger musky caught through the ice in 1983 gave this Long Pond a place in New York fishing history. Today the shallow, heavily vegetated pond also attracts bass and panfish anglers. Its state-forest launch is off Route 41, with a 25-horsepower limit.
