Official stocking history

Stocking records show that the following fish or strains were stocked here. A historical stocking does not by itself prove that a self-sustaining population remains today.

Grass Lake has two noticeably different areas to explore: weedy shallows along the north shore and southern arm, and a deeper northeastern basin. The latter is a smallmouth option, while vegetation holds the lake’s larger warmwater predators. Launch from Butler Road and observe the 10-horsepower limit.
