Preserve the watershed and introduction context rather than merging all occurrences into one uninterrupted native distribution.

Clear water and rock-bottom riffles characterize the habitat account. Current and substrate are both important parts of a locality description. A rocky riffle record should not be replaced with the muddy-pool habitat of another minnow merely because both occur in the same river.
