Planet Lake is a lake on the Price County map and the best numbers we have right now are about 12 acres and a maximum depth of 32 feet, and that is a much better place to start than pretending every lake fishes the same.
How big and deep it is

I would not try to turn the first trip into a science project with a short rotation through the best bank cover, any obvious weeds, and the deepest water I can reach before I started running around looking for something better.
The current species list
Right now, the inventory connects Planet Lake with Black Crappie, Bluegill, Largemouth Bass, Northern Pike, Pumpkinseed, and Yellow Perch; so I would pack with weeds, wood, rock, or docks for bass and weeds and easy cover for panfish, and then let the actual bites decide what comes next.
How I would learn the lake
Going into a first day on Planet Lake, I would choose a few spots that look different from one another and give each one a fair chance, and I would still look at the current Wisconsin regulations before fishing.
