Flora Lake is a lake on the Langlade County map and the published measurements are about 12 acres and a maximum depth of 6 feet, and that is a much better place to start than pretending every lake fishes the same.

I would not try to turn the first trip into a science project and the first places I would give a fair shot are the best bank cover, any obvious weeds, and the deepest water I can reach before I started running around looking for something better.
The current species list
Right now, the inventory connects Flora Lake with Brook Trout, Brown Trout, and Rainbow Trout; which makes it reasonable to try cooler, deeper water for trout, and then let the actual bites decide what comes next.
How I would learn the lake
Going into a first day on Flora Lake, I would bring a couple of dependable baits, fish the best-looking water I can reach, and pay attention to what the first few bites have in common, and I would still look at the current Wisconsin regulations before fishing.
