Spice Lake

Spice Lake is a lake in Oconto County with the current inventory showing about 20 acres and a maximum depth of 34 feet, and that gives you a simple feel for the lake before tackle choices even matter.

What this lake is like

I would rather learn one piece of this water than rush through ten with a simple look at the best bank cover, any obvious weeds, and the deepest water I can reach and that is usually enough to tell you whether to stay shallow or start looking farther out.

What swims here

I do not have enough solid fish data for Spice Lake to name a target with confidence; the lack of a fish list is a data gap, not an invitation to fill it with assumptions, and and keep everything else in reserve until i need it.

A simple way to approach it

For an uncomplicated day on Spice Lake, I would rather learn one shoreline, bay, point, or break than spend the whole day running around, then I would verify the latest bag, size, and season information before fishing.
