Moody Lake

Among the waters in Oconto County, Moody Lake is listed as a lake with the available water data listing about 22 acres and a maximum depth of 9 feet, which gives you a decent picture of what kind of day on the water you are planning.

A plain-English look at the water

My first day here would stay uncomplicated by putting the first hour into the best bank cover, any obvious weeds, and the deepest water I can reach and I would pay more attention to where the first bite comes from than what lure caught it.

What the fish list tells you

Right now, Moody Lake does not have a dependable exact-water fish list in the inventory; until the exact-water record improves, i would keep the trip general instead of pretending one target is guaranteed, and instead of guessing at a totally different kind of fishing.

Where I would start

If I had never seen Moody Lake before, I would keep the first hour organized enough that a bite actually teaches me something, and I would check the current regulations before keeping anything.
