Lost Lake

If you are looking at Lost Lake, you are looking at a Iron County lake and the basic lake data comes in at about 7 acres and a maximum depth of 11 feet, so you can decide whether to fish it slow or break the day into a few different areas.

Size, depth, and the lay of the lake

The first trip does not need a giant tackle plan and I would begin around the best bank cover, any obvious weeds, and the deepest water I can reach and that is usually enough to tell you whether to stay shallow or start looking farther out.

I am leaving the fish list for Lost Lake alone until there is better exact-water evidence; i would not let a statewide species list stand in for actual evidence from this water, and and keep everything else in reserve until i need it.

My game plan

If I had a few hours to figure out Lost Lake, I would make the day about finding one repeatable clue instead of collecting waypoints, and I would read the current Wisconsin rules once before the trip so there are no surprises.
