Flora Dell Lake

Flora Dell Lake belongs to Monroe County and is listed as a reservoir and the published measurements are about 6 acres and a maximum depth of 11 feet, and that is a much better place to start than pretending every lake fishes the same.

Before you start fishing

I would spend more time watching the water than changing baits with the first real effort focused on the best bank cover, any obvious weeds, and the deepest water I can reach before I started running around looking for something better.

The fish list

I would not plan around one specific fish at Flora Dell Lake from the current record alone; that keeps the page honest, even if it means there is less to say right now, and rather than hauling gear for every fish in the state.

What I would try before anything fancy

If this were my day on Flora Dell Lake, I would bring a couple of dependable baits, fish the best-looking water I can reach, and pay attention to what the first few bites have in common, and I would still look at the current Wisconsin regulations before fishing.
