Selman 23 Reservoir

Selman 23 Reservoir is a reservoir in Harper County, Oklahoma, and if i were fishing this water for the first time, i would spend more time looking than moving because the first trip should be about learning the water, not covering mileage

A straightforward read without making it complicated: for a clean starting point

The current record gives us a practical sense of the lake's size and depth where those facts are known, including a record with acreage, maximum depth, and storage still unfilled, and i would keep the missing details open instead of forcing an answer and that is exactly why I would rather leave a number out than estimate it

Before I make the first cast if you have never been here: without chasing theories

This water still needs a verified fish audit, so i would not buy tackle for a specific species based on this page alone because a real fish list can be added cleanly when a good source appears

A first-trip view without making it complicated: before you overthink it

Once I have a feel for the immediate water, i would spend more time fishing than searching for the next place because there is plenty of time for bigger moves after the first plan gets a fair chance
