Oknoname 089017 Reservoir

Oknoname 089017 Reservoir is a reservoir in McCurtain County, Oklahoma, and if i were fishing this water for the first time, i would fish what i can actually see so I can build the rest of the day from something real

Before I make the first cast without guessing at the missing pieces: while keeping expectations realistic

This water still needs a verified fish audit, and the next improvement needs to come from research rather than creative writing and that keeps the door open for a clean correction later

A straightforward read for the opening few hours: without the filler

The current record gives us a practical sense of the lake's size and depth where those facts are known, including a record with acreage, maximum depth, and storage still unfilled, and that keeps the article grounded in the record instead of assumptions so the facts can grow over time without carrying old mistakes forward

A first-trip view for the opening few hours: with room to adjust

Once I have a feel for the immediate water, i would stay patient with the first area that gives me a reason to stop so a slow start only calls for one adjustment instead of a complete reset
