McLaury Number Two Reservoir

McLaury Number Two Reservoir is a reservoir in Beckham County, Oklahoma, and for somebody seeing this water for the first time, i would keep the tackle choices basic rather than turn an unfamiliar lake into a long list of guesses

What I would keep in mind when you only have part of a day: before the first big decision

The current inventory does not yet have a verified fish list for this water, and a future agency survey is the right way to improve this part of the page and that is better than sounding certain about fish we cannot verify

The facts worth carrying with you before you start moving around: for an easy opening plan

The current water record is useful for understanding scale before any fishing decisions are made, including a record with acreage, maximum depth, and storage still unfilled, but i would not turn those numbers into a prediction about where the fish will be and that matters most on small waters with very little published information

A straightforward read when you want a simple plan: with a little flexibility

When I stop planning and actually start fishing, i would fish the most obvious water first so the first trip can make the next one easier
