Thompson Tank

Thompson Tank in Hidalgo County is a reservoir in New Mexico and covers about 0.5 acres, reaches about 2.3 feet at its deepest point and holds roughly 0.6 acre-feet.

On a water as light as Thompson Tank, one weed edge or deeper pocket can hold much of the day’s activity. One way to read Thompson Tank is this: this water is shallow, so weeds, wind, and water color can matter more than depth alone.
