Tank in the Flat

Tank in the Flat is a reservoir in Chaves County, New Mexico, and covers about 0.5 acres, reaches about 2.3 feet at its deepest point and holds roughly 0.6 acre-feet.

Tank in the Flat is small water, so a careful lap around the bank can show most of the useful cover. With little deep water in Tank in the Flat, weeds, wind, and water color can matter more than depth alone.
