South Taylor Tank

South Taylor Tank is a reservoir in Chaves County, New Mexico, and covers about 1.2 acres, reaches about 3.2 feet at its deepest point and holds roughly 2.2 acre-feet.

On a water as small as South Taylor Tank, one weed edge or deeper pocket can hold much of the day’s activity. With little deep water in South Taylor Tank, weeds, wind, and water color can matter more than depth alone.
