South Tank

The 0.7-acre South Tank in Chaves County is a reservoir in New Mexico and covers about 0.7 acres, reaches about 2.5 feet at its deepest point and holds roughly 0.9 acre-feet.

While fishing South Tank, on a water as small as this water, one weed edge or deeper pocket can hold much of the day’s activity. For the next pass on South Tank, this water is shallow, so weeds, wind, and water color can matter more than depth alone.
