Sheep Tank

The 0.3-acre Sheep Tank in Rio Arriba County is a reservoir in New Mexico and covers about 0.3 acres, reaches about 1.9 feet at its deepest point and holds roughly 0.3 acre-feet.

On a water as small as Sheep Tank, one weed edge or deeper pocket can hold much of the day’s activity. Before moving far on Sheep Tank, this water is shallow, so weeds, wind, and water color can matter more than depth alone.
