Sawmill Tank

Sawmill Tank in Sierra County is a reservoir in New Mexico and covers about 3 acres, reaches about 4.5 feet at its deepest point and holds roughly 7.4 acre-feet.

For a short trip to Sawmill Tank, this water is light water, so a careful lap around the bank can show most of the useful cover. The early check on Sawmill Tank should stay simple: this water is shallow, so weeds, wind, and water color can matter more than depth alone.
