Rock Tank

The 1.7-acre Rock Tank in Otero County is a reservoir in New Mexico and covers about 1.7 acres, reaches about 3.6 feet at its deepest point and holds roughly 3.5 acre-feet.

On a water as light as Rock Tank, one weed edge or deeper pocket can hold much of the day’s activity. When working Rock Tank, this water is shallow, so weeds, wind, and water color can matter more than depth alone.
