Red Tank

Red Tank in the northern part of Catron County is a reservoir in New Mexico and covers about 0.2 acres, reaches about 1.8 feet at its deepest point and holds roughly 0.2 acre-feet.

The early check on Red Tank should stay simple: the small size of this water makes quiet casts and short moves more useful than carrying a pile of tackle. At Red Tank in the northern part of Catron County, this water is shallow, so weeds, wind, and water color can matter more than depth alone.
