New Tank

New Tank in the central part of Otero County is a reservoir in New Mexico and covers about 0.2 acres, reaches about 1.8 feet at its deepest point and holds roughly 0.2 acre-feet.

During the first hour on New Tank, this water is small water, so a careful lap around the bank can show most of the useful cover. When the bite is slow on New Tank, this water is shallow, so weeds, wind, and water color can matter more than depth alone.
