New Tank

New Tank in the northern part of Hidalgo County is a reservoir in New Mexico and covers about 0.3 acres, reaches about 1.8 feet at its deepest point and holds roughly 0.2 acre-feet.

A useful start on New Tank is simple: this water is light water, so a careful lap around the bank can show most of the useful cover. During the first hour on New Tank, this water is shallow, so weeds, wind, and water color can matter more than depth alone.
