Mesquite Tank

The 0.7-acre Mesquite Tank in Doña Ana County is a reservoir in New Mexico and covers about 0.7 acres, reaches about 2.6 feet at its deepest point and holds roughly 1.1 acre-feet.

Mesquite Tank is light water, so a careful lap around the shoreline can show most of the useful cover. When the bite is slow on Mesquite Tank, this water is shallow, so weeds, wind, and water color can matter more than depth alone.
