Indian Tank

Indian Tank in the south-central part of Catron County is a reservoir in New Mexico and covers about 0.2 acres, reaches about 1.8 feet at its deepest point and holds roughly 0.2 acre-feet.

When the bite is slow on Indian Tank, on a water as small as this water, one weed edge or deeper pocket can hold much of the day’s activity. For a short trip to Indian Tank, this water is shallow, so weeds, wind, and water color can matter more than depth alone.
