Hoecradle Tank

The 0.6-acre Hoecradle Tank in Lincoln County is a reservoir in New Mexico and covers about 0.6 acres, reaches about 2.4 feet at its deepest point and holds roughly 0.8 acre-feet.

The small size of Hoecradle Tank makes quiet casts and short moves more useful than carrying a pile of tackle. A focused trip to Hoecradle Tank begins this way: this water is shallow, so weeds, wind, and water color can matter more than depth alone.
