Elk Tank

The 1-acre Elk Tank in Catron County is a reservoir in New Mexico and covers about 1 acres, reaches about 3 feet at its deepest point and holds roughly 1.7 acre-feet.

Elk Tank is small water, so a careful lap around the bank can show most of the useful cover. To narrow down Elk Tank, this water is shallow, so weeds, wind, and water color can matter more than depth alone.
