East Tank

East Tank in the north-central part of Eddy County is a reservoir in New Mexico and covers about 0.7 acres, reaches about 2.6 feet at its deepest point and holds roughly 1.1 acre-feet.

On a water as small as East Tank, one weed edge or deeper pocket can hold much of the day’s activity. The first look at East Tank should cover this: this water is shallow, so weeds, wind, and water color can matter more than depth alone.
