Deer Tank

The 0.1-acre Deer Tank in Catron County is a reservoir in New Mexico and covers about 0.1 acres, reaches about 1.4 feet at its deepest point and holds roughly 0.1 acre-feet.

When working Deer Tank, on a water as light as this water, one weed edge or deeper pocket can hold much of the day’s activity. A direct approach on Deer Tank works like this: this water is shallow, so weeds, wind, and water color can matter more than depth alone.
