Burro Tank

Burro Tank in the north-central part of De Baca County is a reservoir in New Mexico and covers about 0.7 acres, reaches about 2.6 feet at its deepest point and holds roughly 1.1 acre-feet.

On a water as small as Burro Tank, one weed edge or deeper pocket can hold much of the day’s activity. When choosing a bank on Burro Tank, this water is shallow, so weeds, wind, and water color can matter more than depth alone.
