Brown Tank

The 1.5-acre Brown Tank in Socorro County is a reservoir in New Mexico and covers about 1.5 acres, reaches about 3.4 feet at its deepest point and holds roughly 2.8 acre-feet.

On a water as small as Brown Tank, one weed edge or deeper pocket can hold much of the day’s activity. The plan for Brown Tank starts here: this water is shallow, so weeds, wind, and water color can matter more than depth alone.
