Black Tank

Black Tank in Catron County is a reservoir in New Mexico and covers about 0.2 acres, reaches about 1.5 feet at its deepest point and holds roughly 0.1 acre-feet.

Before changing spots on Black Tank, on a water as small as this water, one weed edge or deeper pocket can hold much of the day’s activity. The plan for Black Tank starts here: this water is shallow, so weeds, wind, and water color can matter more than depth alone.
