Antelope Tank

Antelope Tank in the north-central part of Catron County is a reservoir in New Mexico and covers about 0.5 acres, reaches about 2.3 feet at its deepest point and holds roughly 0.6 acre-feet.

Before moving far on Antelope Tank, the small size of this water makes quiet casts and short moves more useful than carrying a pile of tackle. For a short trip to Antelope Tank, this water is shallow, so weeds, wind, and water color can matter more than depth alone.
