Lake Lotawana is private. A place in a fishing directory does not give the public permission to use its shoreline, docks or launch. Arrange access with the Lake Lotawana Association before planning a trip.
Arrange fishing access first
If you have an invitation, ask your host which shoreline and dock areas you may use, what fishing rules apply and whether your equipment or boat needs approval. A shoreline home or rental listing is not enough to establish lake privileges. The association is the right source for current access arrangements; this guide does not establish a public fishing spot.
Planning an authorized visit
For an authorized visit, keep fishing, paddling or time on a dock within the privileges your host has confirmed. Do not tow a boat here expecting a public day-use ramp. Check the association's current rules and contact information first, especially if the invitation involves bringing a boat from another water.
