Gammage Pond

Gammage Pond is one of the named lake waters in Worth County, so I would begin around one short section of water and avoid a long move until I learn something from the first setup. I would rather understand one section well than skim five, so I would stay around one sheltered part of the lake until I learn something from the opening stretch.

Gammage Pond Size, Maximum Depth and Volume

Published physical measurements are limited for Gammage Pond, so I would avoid borrowing numbers from another lake until an official reservoir report documents the value and fish one straightforward part of the lake until I find a repeatable bite in the first area.

Fishing This Water

Exact-water fish information is limited for Gammage Pond, so I would bring a basic first-trip selection of small artificials and a bottom rig to one promising part of the lake and keep the plan broad until I find a repeatable bite in the first adjustment. A simple setup around one easy-to-read starting zone on Gammage Pond is easier to read, so I would keep fishing it until I see a pattern develop in the first few casts.

A Practical Gammage Pond Game Plan

On Gammage Pond, I would begin around one manageable starting zone with one clear target and fix the first weak link in the approach only after I see a pattern develop in the nearby water. The moment I see a pattern develop in the first hour, I would stay with one nearby area near the launch on Gammage Pond before making the next move. When I get a useful answer from the first area, I would treat one short area near the launch as the first useful reference point for my next visit to Gammage Pond.
