Within Screven County, Conyers Lake is identified as a lake; a practical first look would begin around one sheltered section of bank, and I would stay close until I get a clear read from the first area. I do not need to cover the whole lake on day one; I would fish one straightforward section of bank until I get a clear read from the first adjustment and build from there.
Exact physical figures are difficult to verify for Conyers Lake, so I would keep the trip practical until an official lake survey confirms the number and fish one promising shoreline stretch until I learn something from the first few casts.
There is not much exact-water species information published for Conyers Lake, so I would keep the first outing flexible with one light rod with a jig, worm, and float around one easy-to-read shoreline stretch until I learn something from the nearby water. For Conyers Lake, I would spend the opening part of the trip around one short section of water, avoid constant relocation, and make the simplest change first after I find a repeatable bite in the first area. Once I find a repeatable bite in the first adjustment, I would keep working one sheltered section of water on Conyers Lake before deciding whether to stay, move, or change depth. The moment I see a pattern develop in the first few casts, I would remember the setup I used around one straightforward part of the lake and make that the first test on my next trip to Conyers Lake.
