Bodrey Lake

Bodrey Lake is one of the named reservoir waters in Lee County, so I would begin around one sheltered area near the launch and avoid a long move until I see enough in the first area. I would rather understand one section well than skim five, so I would stay around one straightforward piece of water until I see enough in the first adjustment.

Bodrey Lake Size, Maximum Depth and Volume

Published physical measurements are limited for Bodrey Lake, so I would avoid borrowing numbers from another lake until a current management document publishes a figure and fish one promising piece of water until I get a clear read from the first few casts.

Fishing This Water

Exact-water fish information is limited for Bodrey Lake, so I would bring one versatile setup with a jig, spinner, and bait rig to one easy-to-read piece of water and keep the plan broad until I get a clear read from the nearby water. A simple setup around one manageable section of bank on Bodrey Lake is easier to read, so I would keep fishing it until I get a clear read from the first hour.

A Practical Bodrey Lake Game Plan

On Bodrey Lake, I would begin around one nearby section of bank with one clear target and change depth before changing every bait only after I learn something from the first setup. The moment I learn something from the first adjustment, I would stay with one short shoreline stretch on Bodrey Lake before making the next move. When I find a repeatable bite in the first few casts, I would treat one sheltered shoreline stretch as the first useful reference point for my next visit to Bodrey Lake.
