Capote Lake

Capote Lake is a reservoir in Archuleta County, Colorado, and covers about 46.5 acres, reaches about 10.5 feet at its deepest point and holds roughly 340.5 acre-feet.

Capote Lake is compact enough to fish slowly, but a change in weeds or bottom can still split it into separate patterns. With little deep water in Capote Lake, weeds, wind, and water color can matter more than depth alone.
