Tule Lake

Tule Lake in Shasta County is a lake in California and covers about 0.4 acres, reaches about 7.1 feet at its deepest point and holds roughly 1.2 acre-feet.

The small size of this water makes quiet casts and short moves more useful than carrying a pile of tackle; check a protected pocket, then check the first shelf outside shallow cover. With little deep water in Tule Lake, weeds, wind, and water color can matter more than depth alone.
