Mud Lake

The 0.8-acre Mud Lake in Plumas County is a lake in California and covers about 0.8 acres, reaches about 8.5 feet at its deepest point and holds roughly 2.8 acre-feet.

The small size of this water makes quiet casts and short moves more useful than carrying a pile of tackle; check the clearest edge before moving, then make short moves after each pass. This water is shallow, so weeds, wind, and water color can matter more than depth alone; fish the same shape nearby.
