Mustin Lake

Mustin Lake is a lake in Ouachita County, Arkansas; when i want to keep the day simple, i would stay flexible until something starts making sense instead of turning the day into a race.

Before the first cast when the facts are limited: without the fluff

Some basic water measurements are still blank, which makes a simple first visit more useful than a detailed plan built on bad information; That keeps future corrections simple and honest.

The starting point for an honest starting point: before a bigger move

No fish relationships are attached to this entry yet, so the honest answer is that the target list is still unknown; There is no reason to make the site look complete by making the data worse.

What we know without overthinking it: for a relaxed day

After I see what the day is really giving me, i would work the straightforward water before making a long move before copying somebody else's trip.

The short version for this water: with the facts first

Before I head toward the water, i would make sure a drawdown, closure, or access change is not going to surprise me because that is useful information rather than fishing theory.
