Moody Old River

Moody Old River is a lake in Arkansas County, Arkansas; before i make a long move, i would give one manageable area a fair chance before deciding I need a completely different plan.

What stands out without filling gaps: before choosing a direction

Once I know what kind of water I can actually reach, i would give one section enough time to teach me something so I can learn this water on its own terms.

The practical side from the current record: before a bigger move

The size-and-depth picture is not complete yet, so I would plan around what is known and let the unknowns stay unknown; A short honest answer is still the right answer.

The useful facts if you are new here: without guessing

The fish section is still waiting on exact-water evidence, so I would keep expectations open until something solid is documented; The honest version is still useful for identifying and planning around the water.

How I would look at it before you load the gear: before making assumptions

Before I decide the day is set, i would look at current arkansas fishing rules and any managing-agency notices and avoid turning a simple trip into a preventable headache.
