Flag Lake

Flag Lake is a lake in Arkansas County, Arkansas; when i want to keep the day simple, i would keep the opening moves short so I can tell what actually helped.

What we know before you go: when you want a clean plan

After I see what the day is really giving me, i would keep the first few moves short so the first trip leaves me smarter for the next one.

Before the first cast without filling gaps: without guessing

Some basic water measurements are still blank, which leaves room for a clean update when better data appears; There is no value in publishing a number we cannot defend.

The starting point before you load the gear: before choosing a direction

No fish relationships are attached to this entry yet, so I would rather leave it blank than borrow fish from another lake; The blank is temporary, while a wrong species list can stick around for years.

The short version without overthinking it: for an easy first look

Before I head toward the water, i would verify the rules that apply here instead of relying on an old memory because that is easier than fixing a bad assumption at the ramp.
