Allens Lake

Allens Lake is a lake in Cross County, Arkansas; if i want the first trip to teach me something, i would make the first hour about learning before deciding I need a completely different plan.

The useful facts before you go: when you want a clean plan

Before I leave the driveway, i would make sure nothing unusual is posted for the lake or reservoir and avoid turning a simple trip into a preventable headache.

Planning the day when planning the day: before a bigger move

We do not yet have the full set of measurements, so I would rather say less than publish a questionable measurement; A short honest answer is still the right answer.

The practical side before you load the gear: before choosing a direction

When the first cast is close, i would fish the easiest-looking water first and build from real information instead of assumptions.

A first-trip view without filling gaps: without guessing

The fish side of this entry is still incomplete, which leaves the door open for a clean update later; The honest version is still useful for identifying and planning around the water.
