Rock Tank

The 2-acre Rock Tank in Maricopa County is a reservoir in Arizona and covers about 2 acres, reaches about 11 feet at its deepest point and holds roughly 9.4 acre-feet.

For an first pass, the light size of Rock Tank makes quiet casts and short moves more useful than carrying a pile of tackle. Keep the first check on Rock Tank simple: this water is shallow, so weeds, wind, and water color can matter more than depth alone.
