Hardscrabble Lake

Hardscrabble Lake is a reservoir in Apache County, Arizona and covers about 1.2 acres, reaches about 9.5 feet at its deepest point and holds roughly 5.1 acre-feet.

The small size of Hardscrabble Lake makes quiet casts and short moves more useful than carrying a pile of tackle. With little deep water in Hardscrabble Lake, weeds, wind, and water color can matter more than depth alone.
