Elk Tank

Elk Tank in the north-central part of Coconino County is a reservoir in Arizona and covers about 0.2 acres, reaches about 5.5 feet at its deepest point and holds roughly 0.5 acre-feet.

On a water as light as Elk Tank, one weed edge or deeper pocket can hold much of the day’s activity. When choosing a bank on Elk Tank, this water is shallow, so weeds, wind, and water color can matter more than depth alone.
