Dead Horse Tank

The 1-acre Dead Horse Tank in Coconino County is a reservoir in Arizona and covers about 1 acres, reaches about 9 feet at its deepest point and holds roughly 4 acre-feet.

The light size of Dead Horse Tank makes quiet casts and short moves more useful than carrying a pile of tackle. To begin fishing Dead Horse Tank, this water is shallow, so weeds, wind, and water color can matter more than depth alone.
