Official stocking history

Stocking records show that the following fish or strains were stocked here. A historical stocking does not by itself prove that a self-sustaining population remains today.

Paul Grist Lake is a good fit for a small-boat fishing day. Electric trolling motors are welcome, gasoline motors aren't, and the park offers jon-boat rentals as well as a ramp for private boats.

Surface area100 acres

The 100-acre lake is the centerpiece of Paul M. Grist State Park. Try a worm near bottom for shellcrackers or a small float rig for bluegill. Restrooms and picnic tables are in the lake area, making a shore break easy to work into the day.
